The ALP provides a forum whereby executive teams from non-competing organizations offer insight and experience into each other’s company challenges. These teams work with each other as “friendly consultants”, giving candid input throughout the three modules. The ALP combines the best of two worlds, the power of internal task forces and the insights of outside consultants.

In focusing on issues rather than projects, the ALP makes use of the work done back home rather than making new work for the participants. The company group probes into its own issue, with the support of the other groups as sounding boards. They act as consultants, using their own experience, but with no axe to grind. As a result of the program, innovative solutions are developed, company structures and practices are changed.

In these difficult times, many companies—not all!—cut back on executive development. However, they do not cut back on problem solving. The ALP combines creative problem solving with executive development. To this end companies cannot afford to miss the opportunities presented by this program.

The ALP provides a safe forum to reframe issues and seek solutions.
